Initial Necklace - Ardene
It is vital to take time to cultivate a sense of inner beauty within oneself. We all struggle with insecurities, and there are certain discomforts we have with ourselves. But this is only natural, for we know that as humans we are flawed and imperfect. However, we should not let ourselves be defined by our imperfections. As the saying goes, "Beauty is only skin-deep." There is so much more within us than just what appears on the surface.
Knowing who you are and living authentically as you really are is truly the most beautiful thing. To be yourself is the most beautiful thing you could ever be. We are all constantly seeking and discovering our better selves, aware that there is still so much work to be done within us. There is something special about all of us. But, in order to know what that is, you have to be willing to dig deeper—Deeper than what you see on the outside, and deeper than how you feel in moments of insecurity or discomfort.
Individual beauty is the cultivated and nurtured strength of knowing who you are, and being yourself without letting your choices or perceptions be influenced by self-judgement or judgment from others. Who you are matters, and who you will become matters even more. The goal should be to grow into your true self, steadily but surely, by becoming the kind of person you are on a good day, everyday.
There is a flower garden in your heart that must be watered in order to bloom. Do not leave your petals to dry and wither away. You are too much of a wonder in this world to be so easily discarded. Bloom with your petals fully open. Receive the sunlight that shines upon you. Receive the rain as well, because it is alright to be beaten down every once in a while. Receive all that you deserve, and give back in return. Give to yourself all that you desire. Love yourself.
Your individuality is your power and your significance in this world. Do not throw yourself away simply because of your desire to fit in. Stand out. Be a rebel with a cause. Be different. Be You. You are just fine.
Thank you for being here, my friend. Thank you for existing. Thank you for living. Until next time.
Warmly, Grace.
